  1. Narrative Essay is a essay that is written to tell a story of someone, because its a narrative essay we can use the word "I" in a sentence. Narrative essays need a point or purpose that the writer has to write about. Also narrative essays need introduction, plot, characters, setting, climax, and
    conclusion.

  3. Today we discussed narrative essays. In my opinion, I think it narrative essays are the most interesting to read. The reason for that is because it tells a story, unlike other essays that consist of examples or steps to a process. Though i think narrative essays are the most interesting, I also think that they are complicated to compose. In comparison, it is more complicated to format a story than it is to compose an essay that consists of examples or steps that require supporting detail.

    1. I agree that narrative essays may be complicate to compose because you have to really brainstorm, come up with an introduction, plot, etc. and to keep the point of view and purpose of the story clear.

  5. Writing a Narrative essay is telling a story, which includes a theme or a purpose. Basically, the point of story gives the story its movement. If the essay is personal and intimate, the author may use "I". Narrative essays may include pacing, flashbacks/chronological order, details, and motifs (to help reinforce the purpose/theme). Out of the all the topics for the narrative essay, I would pick my first visit to the country (US) because I know I have a lot to say and I had a great experience.

  6. A narrative essay is an essay where you are telling a story from a vantage point usually talking about yourself. However, whenever I think of a narrator I think it's as if someone else is telling your story like God lol. So I have always believed a narrative essay to be where you are telling a story whether it's of yourself or of someone else.

    1. I used to think that way too. But here's the catch. In this case, we're the ones who are writing the essay. Therefore, our readers will know that it's about our point of view.

  7. To me a narrative essay is an essay about your life. Often, it is not quite an essay, but a story. It is important to focus on the plot and sequence of events that happened in your life. I would pick my day at a new job, because I still remember all the mistakes i made and all my co-workers laughed at me, but i had many great experiences from the job.

  9. A narrative essay may be written about ones personal story, or any personal experience. The advantage of writing a narrative essay is informing and entertaining the reader about
yourself. Another advantage is having the opportunity of understanding yourself better
during the the process of your paper.

  11. A narrative essay is when the writer tells a story in which the audience can gain an understanding or learn something. The topics I'd choose for my narrative essay would have to be either a memorable journey or your first visit to the country (or to a large city). I could also write about my first or last day on a job. It all depends on which topic I have more of a story on, which impacted me more, which gave me more experience, etc.

  12. Narrative essay is being able to tell a story from experience or imagination. It makes the reader feel as if they're living in your shoes, allowing them to see things from your perspective. If I had to choose a topic for narrative essay, it would be my first visit to a country, I would write about my reactions when I arrived in Africa, because it was a complete culture shock.

  13. A narrative essay is pretty much a short story from a first person point of view describing an experience. I personally think narrative essays are more interesting and entertaining to read. While you are reading the narrative, you can hear, taste, see, smell, and imagine what's going on and (if written descriptively), you feel as if you are there with the writer.

  15. A narrative essay is basically the writer telling a story or writing about an experience they once had. They are always fun to read because you get to try and envision what exactly they are talking about. I enjoy writing narrative essays because I like the fact that I can express my thoughts easily onto paper since it is coming from my own personal experiences.

  16. A narrative essay is telling a story of something that the writer has experienced, a story about something that happened in there life. I would write about 'A memorable journey'. I would talk about the journey of being a mom, because I think all stories of being a parent are very interesting and different in their own ways.
