  1. revising and editing is very important. If we did not have to revise and edit, it is more likely that whatever were doing such as writing papers, or turning in documents will all be inaccurate and filled with horrible grammar. Revising and editing is what makes a paper so wonderful and perfect.

    3. I agree, revising and editing really helps find some grammatical issues that we probably wouldn't catch ourselves doing on the first draft.

  2. The importance of revising and editing is simple. It dramatically improves a person's paper like the organization, grammar, punctuation, to match the assignment requirements, etc. If there was no revising and editing, the papers would probably not be quite good in the quality sense.

  3. It is very important to revise and edit our papers to make sure that there are no grammatical mistakes and that it's well organized with its structure. Moreover revising and editing someone else's paper helps them become a better writer by showing them any mistakes they have made and how to fix it to strengthen the support of their thesis or topic. We need editing and revising to create professional well organized papers because sloppy and disorganized work is probably not accepted here at college.

    7. I agree. If you do not correct someone's mistakes, it is more likely that they will continue to make the same mistakes over and over again. I know that once i see the mistake i have made and i correct it, it helps me develop my skill to be better.

  4. Revising and editing is very important. Revising and editing helps us to find mistakes that we did not notice when we first wrote the paper. I personally like someone to peer review my paper before revising and editing, so someone can help me find things that I can do to better my paper and I can consider their ideas along with my own ideas. Also, without revising and editing, our papers would not be as organized and well written.

    5. Yes, having perspective is a great way to become a better writer. And the only way to have perspective is to share it with your peers and friends, this way you and your peers can learn more about writing process.

  5. Revising and editing your paper is a very helpful step that everyone should make before turning in their final draft. To revise and edit a paper, one must simply go over what they wrote and look for any grammatical errors. One should also review their paper for any sentences that need structuring. This is a very important step because as writers, we tend to jolt down every idea that comes to mind, and sometimes we think faster than we type/write which may lead to some misspelled words and so on.

    3. That is true. Many times when i am writing i am thinking faster than my hands can move, then when i go back and read my work i have typos and grammatical errors. This is one of the reasons why i think it is necessary for us to revise and edit our work before we turn it in.

  6. After reading the Toronto Writing made me realized how important it is to revise. Not just read it over but to think, organize, select, connect, and also read aloud thoroughly. I learned not to depend on grammar and spell check but also avoid neglecting small details like, cover page, number of page, double-space, standard font, reference list, and most of all STAPLE!

The find the class lesson today was quite difficult. I'm not familiar with atterns of argument, logical fallacies at all. I learned a lot through the difficult exercises.

  8. Revising and editing are every important elements of the writing process. Without revising and editing things would be very informal and unclear. Revising and editing gives you a a chance to make corrections to errors you may not have notices while in the process of writing. It also give you a chance to insure that all your ideas are organized and make sense. I have never meet anyone who could write a perfect paper on the first try.

  11. The importance of editing and revising are always helpful when writing papers. Editing is important because your first draft will never be perfect. There will always be mistakes, which is why you edit to make your details, words, or make any changes with anything. On the other hand revising is also important because after editing you want to make sure your paper is readable and organized.
