I think the brain stretchers are very useful. it enhances our imagination and writing skills, also it helps us learn to break things down and observe something before we write about it. honestly it is very helpful
ReplyDeleteI agree, the brain stretchers does help build our writing and creative skills.
Deleteagreed, we can go beyond and above our imagination!
DeleteThey are pretty useful! It makes us think and perhaps go beyond what we think are our limits.
DeleteI think the quote is saying how reading and writing go hand in hand. Today we did another brain stretcher and this time I made a short paragraph. I like this activity. It exercises my writing and creativity abilities.
ReplyDeleteme too! it makes me think and really makes my brain stretch!
DeleteYeah, your explanation is pretty straightforward! Brain stretchers are fun and especially hearing other people's ideas and stories!
DeleteThe quote really made me think, reading writing, and thinking all go together. it's like a car, if a car has no gas or engine it won't move. Same goes for this quote without writing, reading, or thinking were not going to get anywhere. We Need all these in order to be a better writer or reader in the future.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting example! That's true though. I agree that we need all of these things to improve on our abilities!
DeleteNice analogy! Yes, both reading and writing help build each other.
DeleteGood analogy. I didn't think of it like that!
DeleteThe quote expresses the importance of reading and writing. They go hand in hand all the time. In order to learn effectively you must do all. Makes me think.
ReplyDeleteyup! especially doing all three in which many people lack. but practice makes perfect!
DeleteReading and writing is essential. It's education! I agree that you must do all to achieve more!
DeleteIt makes me think as well. Reading and writing are essential and we need both to learn.
DeleteI agree, reading and writing is part of our every day doing. It is definitely essential and it must be something we are proficient in.
DeleteYou need to read in order to write. That's just like needing imagination to create.
DeleteThe quote above is telling us that Reading, Writing, and Thinking work together and that for you to be able to do one, you must be able to do the other. In other terms its like to speak a language, you need to understand the language, then when you can understand it, you can speak it and the more you speak and listen, the better you can communicate and interpret.
ReplyDeleteagreed, its like a team effort. it is like to speak a language good example!
DeleteCompletely agree. Reading and writing both involve one another.
Deleteinteresting analogy. It is definitely true. Understanding a language requires both reading and writing.
DeleteThe three words connect like a triangle. That's why we follow that shape because it's the shape of collaboration.
DeleteYou to do things that may be the key to improving on or learning something else! By reading, you grasp the ability to write and vice versa. As these two mix together, you may find something interesting such as improving the ability to think! It's like how you may make mistakes but you learn from them and so you can improve yourself from making that mistake again.
ReplyDeleteYes, sometimes improving one thing ends up improving a whole other bunch of things too.
DeleteI agree, majority of the times, we improve after making mistakes. We are only human.
DeleteWe will always need to read what we write. It's like we need to listen to what music we made.
DeleteI totally agree.
DeleteReading and writing goes hand in hand, you cannot do one without the other. These skills are very important from the beginning of time and it is essential to our world today. We use these skills to communicate and break the language barrier so we can understand one another. Words can be very beautiful and meaningful.
ReplyDeleteI agree. You can't do one without the other.
DeleteWords are very beautiful and meaningful. Also, that is a great way to explain the quote by the way.
DeleteThat is true that you need to know how to read in order to write. It's the way we value our senses and knowledge.
DeleteI agree, words can be very beautiful and meaningful!
DeleteWe need to think about what we write, and we need to be able to read other's writings to be able to think of a new idea again. It's an exploration. The brain stretchers would be good examples for those three categories working as one.

ReplyDeleteThis quote shows that reading and writing are both equally important, and when you improve in one, you improve in the other. They both go hand in hand. I thought the essay brain stretchers were a good way to end the last day of the semester. It's nice hearing people's ideas. Our classmates can be very creative.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with you more. Our classmates are very creative when it comes to those brain stretchers. Our ticket out, glad to have completed this.
DeleteVery well said!
DeleteI couldn't agree more on the picture above. The quote shows that reading and writing is part of our every day lives. Although some people have mastered this, there is still room for improvement. Today's class was very short but very interesting! I had a picture of a rattlesnake and shared my part on it. Everyone else's presentation was interesting as well.
ReplyDeleteI agree, there is always room for improvement!
DeleteThe quote is simply stating that both, reading and writing, are very important skills that we should accomplish. To read more effectively, we must improve on our writing skills and vice versa. The brain stretcher was fun, it's cool how I never seem to see the same pictures over and over again.
