  2. I find that link very useful because I can refer to it when I need to. It is a really great refresher on common mistakes that writers make. Todays class was great. Preparing for the argumentative essay and learning about some outlines that overlap. Overall, todays class activities were creative.

  3. I found the review of common errors in grammar very useful. I was convenient to have examples of what is wrong and what is right to compare and contrast. I plan refer back to this for to improve my writing.
Today's class was in compliance to our normal routine. However, i still learned something. I think it is a good thing that we go over the lessons in class, because sometimes when I do try to do it on my own, I do not always understand it completely. The exercises we did in class helped me understand what it meant to be creative when classifying.

    1. I thought the common grammar errors review was very useful. Even as a college student, I still make these mistakes in my writing, but reviewing simple errors like these can refresh us and improve our writing skills. Today's class was pretty fun. I thought the classification part was kind of confusing. The overlapping examples kind of threw me off, especially the shape one, where round, beautiful, oval, and square were choices. We learn something new every class session!

  6. The resource was very helpful. It made me see the common mistakes I never knew I made and it also refreshed my memory of mistakes I know not to make. I'll surely keep the resource in mind when writing. Today we discussed classification. The exercises helped me understand the concept of classification - classes forming a single principle that indicates the focus.

  7. The common mistakes for writing were very helpful. I realize that I make many mistakes. I was reviewing the link above and there were so much things I forgot. For example I forgot about possessive forms, possessions, and so much more. I think this link is useful for me because I might forget in the future. I am not intelligent, so I am glad I have this guide to look back on. Yesterday's class was really interesting. We learned about classification and how it is better to be organized. Overall it was exciting.

  8. This resource is very helpful! I admit that I have done several of these common writing mistakes in my essays. I had been taught the wrong placement of commas in certain sentence structure and I struggled to know which placement is correct. I am sure that I will use this site for future reference. The class discussion yesterday was interesting as we used our creative thinking to make an outline on classifying things that were in a yard sale. I learned more about classification!

  9. I make those mistakes all the time. I reviewed the whole thing of the website, and I took note on some common mistakes that I have been doing on my writing. I avoided certain mistakes such as comma placements because I have reviewed them in my elementary years.

  10. The common mistakes of English grammar, mechanics, and punctuation resouce website was very helpful and it seems to me that we all have this problem, hence "common" mistakes. There is a lot of information on that website that will seem familiar to us and I'm sure it will help improve our grammar.

  11. This actually made so much sense. I was always told to write but always exclude saying things that didn't need to be said. Commas and other punctuations have always been my problem and I feel this would really help me.
