Example: Yesterday, I had an unusual Christmas experience at the Field House.
Please note that the above topic sentence enables the audience to inquire what kind of experience you've had and why it was unusual.
In addition, discuss your thoughts on today's class activities. (re: definition continued, essay brain stretcher, etc.)
Well, it seems that I'm the first to comment... Anyway class was very interesting to say at least, even if I didn't have to read or answer any of the questions. Hehe... The essay brain stretcher was even more "interesting" to say more. Everyone's piece was better than mine...

DeleteToday in class, we had the same activity we had last week thursday. I had to choose the family picture again. I would want to get the tree picture. I had lots to say for that picture. Class was fun today, we all went to the computer lab and had to do an evaluation.

DeleteDuring the holidays, I had a weird experience with my english classmates when participating in our white elephant activity. - Topic Sentence.
ReplyDeleteToday in class we read some good essays and answered questions. One of the essays had something to with extremists. I also enjoyed time with my english class buddies especially when we read out our stage one process that involved the essay brain sketcher. My class is very wild and loquacious but i love them.
Loquacious??? Now that's a word that I need to look up towards the dictionary, if I can remember to look it up. Ya, today was enjoyable and I liked your essay brain stretcher and the "white elephant activity?".

Yay! I'm not the first to comment again. Christmas, the season of spreading joy & happiness to others and preparing for the birth of our savior. Jesus Christ. (topic sentence). Today's essay about extremist was interesting and something we can relate to. The brain stretcher I got was "Animal Friends". (XD) I really love animals. I really had fun in class and listening to everyone's brain stretcher.

ReplyDeleteToday's session was an interesting one. We started out with teacher evaluation and continued the lesson with an extremist essay. My brain stretcher was about a lovely and full of life tree in the middle of a plain.
You were kinda lost when you came in for class. But don't worry, you were saved by you truly. And brain stretcher picture was inspiring! I mean it!

ReplyDeleteThe holidays is my favorite time of the year. I think the evaluation was good because it took the time off of the class. It gave us time to relax. This was my first time doing a brain stretcher that includes pictures.
