Reflection - Section 11 - August 27
Discuss your thoughts about today's activities. (re: Underlining, annotating, outlining, summarizing, etc.)
Its always a great class, when learning & having fun at the same time. I have a really hard time remembering what I read, so I hope the Reading Techniques can help me in the future!
Today's lesson was interesting and very useful. It helped refresh my memory of the things I learned in high school. I love to write, so I hope these techniques will help me become a better writer.
Todays lesson was an eye opener. Being out of school for over 10 years I was very apprehensive about these general courses that are needed i.e. English and Math. With great interacting between our Professor and fellow students my anxiety level was not as bad and I was also able to understand the different techniques taught today regarding outlining, underlining, annotating and summarization. All these techniques will surely make a difference in our writing ability and I cant wait to learn more.
I agree, the interaction between Professor & our classmates put me at ease! It's good to know that we have a good group of people around us, to help us learn! =)
For today's lesson, our class learned underlining, annotation, outlining, and the difference between summary and reflection. The lessons today were informative and enthusiastic. Today's lesson was a whole new aura for a class session. Looking forward for the rest of the semester will be a fact.
Today's lesson on the different strategies really helps me study better, easier, and its less time consuming too. Anyone who has trouble with studying can really use these techniques.
Yesterday's lesson was a really great review for me. It reminded me of the basic, yet important foundations of reading: underlining, annotating, and outlining. I also learned great tips for summarizing, which will come in handy in the future and help me become a better writer.
The lesson yesterday was a good review for my brain. I never actually thought about all the things we learned such as annotating and outlining. Good stuff.
The lesson 4 days ago really helped renew my brain. I got to learn that using these methods can really help you understand more about the essay. I know that this will help me in the future, and I'll thank this class for helping me out.
Todays lesson was pretty good learned about outlining and the 9 rules.
