Todays lesson we learned about Two types of process analysis which are directive and informative. We also learned working with stages such as, Preparation or background, steps or sequence, order. We learned much more, but i can't describe it all because i have to save my brain for the test. Good and fun lesson today.
ReplyDeleteGood job John! I agree we learned more and that's a good decision to save the rest of our brain for the test. Today was a good lesson.
DeleteSame here! We got this! Fun lesson today.
DeleteI agree. We did cover a lot of things today, but it was all fairly easy. The lesson and exercises seemed short compared to other lessons we had in the bast.
DeleteAgreed that there was a lot in today's lesson but we went over it quickly leaving some time to work on our test#3 essays.
DeleteDefinitely need to save my brain for the test and yeah the lesson was fun!
DeleteI agree! My mind was set on my topic for the next test. The lesson was interesting though because I have no experience on changing oil of a car!
DeleteI think we all need to save our brains for the test.
DeleteI shall save my brain for the test as well. The test is a huge part of our grade.
DeleteTodays lesson was simple. It was kind of a refresher, covering the three steps of the writing process. There are two types of process analysis, which are informative and directive. The writing activities were simple, I enjoyed how the class worked together on figuring out the steps to conduct a change oil. Also, I am satisfied with my test #2 results.
ReplyDeleteBecause of this class i learned how to change oil! and i love it!
DeleteTodays lesson was really helpful! Good job man on passing your test!
DeleteI agree today's class was fairly simple. I like how the exercises we did in this lesson were short and easy, unlike the lengthy exercises we had in other lessons.
DeleteIt was difficult trying to figure out how to change oil, many steps to put in order.
DeleteOf course youre satisfied with your test results! Scholar! lol and I thought the lesson today was simple too and enjoyable.
DeleteI agree, today's lesson was pretty simple. The relaxed, working together, atmosphere is very enjoyable. I really liked the changing oil exercise, as well.
DeleteIt was a refresher and simple as well! I also enjoyed the class working together to figure out the steps. Your test results must be great! Good job!
DeleteThe lesson was new to me. So I'm glad it was taught.
DeleteTodays lesson was really interesting. We learned about two types of process analysis, which are informative and directive. I really liked how we reviewed the stages of the writing process. It really made me confident and prepared for the next test. My test #2 was alright, but I could of done better. I'm looking forward to the next test and I'm excited about it. I don't know why, but I'm glad the next test is mainly on the essay part. I also learned the right way to put oil!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited too! can't wait to take our next test to ace it!
DeleteI think only focusing on the essay for the test would be better for us, that way we wont have to feel like we are running out of time and have to rush through it. I usually never look forward to test, but i think this will help me.
DeleteI also feel that could have done better. I was kind of glad to hear test#3 will just be the essay. It would be easier when focusing on one thing.
DeleteI'm so happy that the test is only on the essay part and i could have done better in the test also! lets do our best next test.
DeleteI'm looking forward to the next test as well!
DeleteI'm looking forward to the next test too! Good luck on the next one man, I'm sure you will do great.
DeleteTrue that! I'm looking forward for test three!
DeleteToday's lesson was the usual. It was new and was looking forward to participate in the exercises which I sort of failed to do. I'm still doing my best. By the way, I was so satisfied with my test score. I cried of joy!
ReplyDeletePractice makes perfect! don't give up if you fail!
DeleteIf at first you dont succeed, try , try again. You'll get there. All that matters is that you are giving effort. Good job on your test. i think we were all kind of nervous when it come time to get out test back.
DeleteJust participating in the exercises showed you tried! and trying is always the way to go!
DeleteToday's class was fairly easy. We went through are usual routine of going through the lesson together. The exercises that were in the the lesson were short and simple unlike the lengthy ones we had in other lessons.
ReplyDeleteI was relieved to see that i did good on test #2. My studying really paid off in the end. I was satisfied with my test grade.
Study does pay off in the end! I'm glad i did better than expected. Let's do good on the next test!
DeleteI like how we just did a short exercise compared to the other lessons. It just frustrates me when my answer isn't right. Glad to hear you did good on test#2.
DeleteI'm glad today's lesson was simple. I agree that the lesson did not take as long as the usual lessons we would discuss on! Good job on studying hard!
DeleteGood job on your test! Studying does take us all a long way. I agree, the lesson was simple and refreshing.
DeleteI was relieved with my test scores as well. That will not make me slack off though. I'm going to do my best until the very end.
DeleteToday we refurbished our memory about the writing process. We also talked about informative process analysis and directive process analysis.
ReplyDeleteTodays class was a refresher. My favorite was the oil changing part, it was fun. The discussion in class gave us enough knowledge to prepare us for upcoming papers/ tests. My test grade was a bit better than my first. Now I need to prepare for the next one so I can finally be satisfied with a good grade.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was the oil changing exercise as well. It helped us interact with our classmates, while we were also learning!
DeleteThe simple discussion gave me less pressure right before receiving my test results. To top that, our test is only on an essay! I have to take advantage of this and write a really good essay.
DeleteGreat job on test #2. I hope you do better on the next one.
DeleteI also thought the oil changing exercise was fun. I hope we all do better on the next test, because there is always room for improvement in our writing.
DeleteIn class we had gone over process analysis and the two types of process analysis. The exercise we did in class about the oil changing really showed how important it is to structure your essay so as not to confuse the reader. My test#2 score was a step up from test#1. I feel confident that I would do better on test#3 considering I scored well on the essay portion on both test1 and test2.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the oil changing exercise was a great example to show how important it is to structure your essay!
DeleteI'm sure everyone will do really great on test #3 since there isn't much to study but our papers. Good luck!
DeleteI agree. I think the oil changing example really showed how important order is in process analysis. I can also confidently say that I did better on test two than on test one as well.
DeleteTodays class was a good because of the time at the end she gave us to work on our essay for the test. I think that giving us time to work on the essays will definitely get us to be more prepared for the test and we will all do better. I also thought the lesson was good because it really made me think and I enjoyed it
ReplyDeleteI agree. I think it's good that she gave us time to work on our essays and that will help us prepare better.
DeleteI agree. The extra time made me think deeper about my topic. It will help us with our essay.
DeleteI agree! The extra time at the end of the class helped refresh my memory and will definitely help on the next test.
DeleteToday we learned about the two types of process analysis: directive and informative. I enjoyed today's class, especially how we worked together to figure out how to change the oil. I am also really happy about my test results, because they are so much better than my first test. I also like how we got time at the end of class to work on our next essay. I feel like I am becoming a better writer already.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I had fun working with our fellow classmates. I know how to change oil properly now!
DeleteToday we learned of two types of process analysis directive and informative. I really enjoyed the activities today, I now how a slight idea on how to change oil. Aside from activities I was extremely shocked to find the grade that I had been given on the test. I went up about three letter grades and prior to having the essay graded I expected to see a less than favorable result. The fact that we had more than twenty minutes left in class to work on our test essay was just icing on the cake for me.
ReplyDeleteI was shocked at my test grade, as well. The review day really helped me out! Good job on your test!
DeleteToday, we learned about the two types of process analysis: directive (explains how to do something) and informative (explains how something was done by giving information). I enjoyed Exercise 1, because we worked together to complete the exercise. It was a fun way to learn something new.
ReplyDeleteI was pleasantly surprised with my Test #2 grade, because I did a lot better than Test #1. I am worried about Test #3 being on the 2 stages of the writing process, because I was just getting the hang of the tests. I think if I just work hard on my essay, I will be okay. Refreshing on the stages today will help me prepare for the test.
Today's discussion focused on the two types of process analysis, which are directive and informative. Directive process analysis is to explain how to do something, whereas informative process analysis explains how something is/was done by giving information. The activity on unscrambling the steps to properly change oil of a car was challenging. It was quite an eye opener though! I'm still not satisfied with the grade I received for my second test, although I am pretty satisfied with the essay portion. I need to work 10x as hard for this test, which is just an essay. I have to prove to myself that I can do a lot better than I am now. I chose my topic on what animal I would be and I chose to be a honey badger!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I need to prove to myself that I can do better for the upcoming test as well!
DeleteLast class we discussed the two different types of process analysis, directive and informative. We had also done some exercises, but the one that I thought was pretty fun was the oil changing exercise. Personally, I've never changed or checked the oil in my car but I would observe when my boyfriend would do it for me... (lol) So, I tried my best to recap from what I remembered. It was pretty challenging, I tried to envision myself in that predicament.
ReplyDeleteprocess analysis is very interesting. it breaks things down for us so we can follow things easily. test 2 was aiite. i did way better than test 1 so i was satisfied with a passing grade but stil not enough i need to work harder now and bring up my grade.
